Coming to a church for the first time can be unnerving! We want you to know everything will be okay! Below are some of the common questions people have when coming to our church. We hope you will find this helpful when attending for the first time!
Is there a dress code?
That’s a good question! No need to be nervous, we generally dress casual.
I’m Catholic/Buddhist/Pentecostal/etc…what do you believe in?
We believe the Bible. There we can clearly see that God sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for us! Through his death, burial, and resurrection, we have obtained eternal life, opening up a way for us to experience His love! God gives us the ability to walk as Jesus did in newness of life through the power of the Holy Spirit, who leads and guides us into all truth. You can find a more in depth response by reviewing our Statement of Faith.
What is the music like?
Our style is contemporary, energetic and exuberant! We believe that praise and worship should please God, open our hearts and be welcoming to the Holy Spirit. Through corporate singing our desire is to create an environment where God’s presence can move changing lives.
What are the messages like?
Pastor Gary breaks down the Word with passion using humor, personal stories, and easy to understand terminology making it applicable to daily living.
What about my kids?
Your children will love Spectrum Kids! Classes are age appropriate and begin as soon as the main service starts. Our staff teaches the Word using every tool possible making it fun! They’ll beg you to come back.
VAULT Jr. High (6th – 8th grade) meet during our Sunday morning services in the Youth Room. They stay for the music and then leave for class. VAULT (7th-12th grade) also hold a weekly service on Wednesday @ 7:00 pm. See the VAULT website for more info!
What about my baby?
We provide a safe and friendly environment to leave your most valuable possession. Our volunteer staff has been carefully screened so you can enjoy the service. If you are not comfortable with that yet, you are welcome to keep your baby with you in the service. Rows in the back of the auditorium are designated for that purpose.
