The youth are doing some exciting things!

Everybody loves raffles…especially if you win!

Starting Sunday, February 12th, they will be selling tickets for a raffle of a $100 Gas Card! Gas is expensive these days! So enter for a chance to win and give towards VAULT youth! The winner will be announced on Sunday, February 26th!

Foundations

Are you ready to start building your spiritual foundation?

It is our desire to provide a way to go beyond simply attending Spectrum Church, to becoming a part of a family, naturally and spiritually. We believe it is important for every believer to have a place where they can belong, grow and use their God given abilities in the local church.

Whether you have attended Spectrum for several years or several weeks, we hope you take the challenge and opportunity to attend the Foundation classes.

When Jesus gave us the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19 He said to make disciples of all nations. The Foundation classes are more than just information. It is four consecutive modules designed to help you grow in your walk as a Christian, becoming the person God made you to be.

Why Foundations?

The “why” for the Foundations course is summed up in the 4 things below:

Mission – Everyone needs to know where they are going, and also, where the church is going. Our mission, beliefs and purpose will be clearly discussed.
Maturity – Gods’ plan always involves growth. The Foundation classes will put fuel in your spirit and increase your ability to produce fruit in God’s Kingdom.
Mentoring – Godly models are always needed in church. The teachings and teachers will provide tools necessary for stability.
Ministry – Our ultimate purpose is for all believers to grow spiritually and be released into doing what God has called them to do. These classes will help every person discover and nurture that God-given ability.

Are there any requirements for the class?

There are no “requirements” to begin the first module, Foundation 101. However, it does require a commitment in attending the classes when they are scheduled. In order to proceed on to the next module, you must complete the previous module in order to receive credit for the next module you desire to go to.

About the author, John Bevere…
